A significant controversy exists in Christianity regarding the length of time Jesus was in the tomb, and the timing of the resurrection is actually quite important for many reasons. One side opts for a literal 3 days and 3 nights; the other opts for parts of 3 days and 2 nights to align His death and resurrection with Good Friday and Easter . Since we are once again approaching the season of Passover and the memorial of His death and resurrection, today, we are going to take a look at exactly this topic. God did not leave us without the exact information we need to pin down the timing of His death and resurrection, almost to the very hour.
