Racism, Racism Everywhere!
‘Racist’ is a common last-ditch argument point common among the liberals of today’s day and age. It’s overused, misused, and wholly misunderstood. Is racism a problem in today’s day and age? Well, let’s take a look at where the ideas of ‘race’ and ‘racism’ come from in the first place. Our human nature makes it common for us to identify traits and problems based on the most outstanding physical feature rather than the underlying human. We can see a bunch of crime statistics that show that crime in black areas is way higher than crime in white areas and assume that, well, it’s because they have a higher melanin concentration that the crime rate is higher. The same thing happens when we see a group of bankers who are Jewish and evil; then, we assume they are evil bankers because they are Jewish and have big noses. When we take this approach, it leads to hating an entire grouping of people based on their physical characteristics or their ethnicity rather than their individual actions...
